7.99 euro £6.39 WICK16 DEATHWITCH's brand of Metal mayhem is the stuff of confrontation. Premium brewed in the deepest, darkest sewers, the stench they produce is flavoured with the very essence of barbaric, grimly relentless Metal, the kind that Death Metal's very foundations were built upon. Riffs, attitude, menace, 'fuck you' attitude. These guys would slit your throat in a instant, and lick the knife clean. The reference points are all old school - Master, Deathstrike, Mantas, Autopsy, Genocide, Repulsion. The music might sound like slop n' roll gone into overdrive, but a closer listen reveals the ace in the pack; these guys know how to hack a song into shape. When they're not 'vampire-metal' baiting in 'Blood Sucking Fuck', or stating their obvious philosophy in 'Fuck Off and Die', they're simply crushing like blasphemous neanderthal warriors in 'Coffin Fornicator' and 'Witch of Death', and its hard not to agree with their 'fuck you and everything about you' when your having your head placed in a Death Metal vice during 'Worthless Scum'. Fuck fashion - embrace death. |
